Kyiv, 10 November 2017 - ICU, an independent asset management firm specialising in Central and Eastern Europe, is pleased to announce sponsorship of the CFA Institute Research Challenge in Ukraine 2018, an annual competition that promotes best practices in equity research among the next generation of analysts in Ukraine.
The challenge is run in collaboration with the CFA Society Ukraine which unites more than 200 representatives of the investment professionals within the country. The organization is non-governmental, non-for-profit, run by volunteers and part of the worldwide network of Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) societies that are member societies of the CFA Institute.
Each student participant in the competition will be tested on their analytic, valuation, report writing and presentation skills and gain invaluable work experience in the role of a research analyst through hands-on mentoring and intensive training.
ICU’s sponsorship is part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to supporting initiatives that promote best practice in the next generation of financial services professionals in Ukraine.
