EMTA is the principal trade group for the global Emerging Markets trading and investment community

ICU JOINS THE TRADE ASSOCIATION FOR THE EMERGING MARKETS (EMTA)

ICU, an independent asset management, private equity and investment advisory firm specialising in Central and Eastern Europe, is pleased to announce that it has become an associate member of the Trade Association for the Emerging Markets (EMTA) as one of its first members from the Central and Eastern European region.

Makar Paseniuk, Founding Partner, ICU, said:

“We are pleased to join EMTA as its first member from Ukraine and the CEE region. This is part of our continuing effort to promote Ukraine as an investment destination on the world map. We look forward to working with EMTA members by offering our expertise and insights as trading in frontier markets becomes more mainstream. Our regional leadership in asset management, brokerage and investment advisory places us in a unique spot to influence and shape Ukraine’s integration into the international capital markets.”

EMTA is the principal trade group for the global Emerging Markets trading and investment community and has worked since 1990 to promote the orderly development of fair, efficient and transparent trading markets for EM instruments and to help integrate EM into the global capital markets.

In addition to its ongoing activities, EMTA provides a well-recognized forum that enables the EM trading and investment community to identify, discuss and address industry needs and to speak, when necessary, with a strong and credible voice on behalf of a broad spectrum of market participants.

ICU was recently voted as Ukraine’s best Capital Markets and Advisory firm according to Euromoney. In 2020 ICU has been named Best Broker and Best Asset Management Company by Global Banking & Finance Review as well as received awards for best asset management and best corporate governance in CEE region from Institutional Investor magazine.
