Vitaly will be responsible for macroeconomic support for the group's transactions in emerging and global capital markets

VITALIY VAVRYSHCHUK APPOINTED HEAD OF MACROECONOMIC RESEARCH DEPARTMENT OF ICU GROUP

Kiev, November 4, 2021 - ICU Group announces the appointment of Vitaliy Vavryshchuk as Head of the Macroeconomic Research Department. In this role, Vitaly will be responsible for macroeconomic support for the group's transactions in emerging and global capital markets, as well as developing investment advice for clients.

From March 2015 to June 2021, Vitaliy Vavryshchuk held the position of Director of the Financial Stability Department of the NBU, where he was responsible for analyzing and minimizing systemic risks in the banking sector, developing tools for stress testing banks, improving macroprudential policies to prevent systemic crises and minimize the consequences of macroeconomic shocks. Vitaly was also a member of the NBU Monetary Policy Committee.

 

Prior to that, from 2007 to 2015, Vitaly worked in the investment companies Dragon Capital, Concorde Capital, BG Capital and SP Advisors, where he rose from an analyst to the head of the analytical department. Vitaliy started his career in 2003 as an economist at the Center for Social and Economic Research CASE Ukraine.

 

Vitaliy also teaches at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, from which he graduated in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in economics. In 2003 he received a master's degree in economics from the Kiev School of Economics.
