ICU Group denies any wrongdoing by its managing partner, Konstantin Stetsenko, with regards to a series of government bonds transactions from 2014 that were mentioned recently in materials of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine. Any allegations to the contrary are completely baseless.
The events surrounding the transactions were extensively investigated by various law enforcement bodies and regulators. ICU cooperated fully in these investigations by providing all the information it held in its records. The courts ruled that the neither ICU nor its employees had violated the law. The relevant court decisions are all publicly available: the Decision of the Economic Court of Kyiv dated August 7, 2014, the Resolution of the Kyiv Economic Court of Appeal of October 22, 2014 and the Resolution of the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine of December 25, 2014.
The Prosecutor General was a party to these proceedings and is well aware that the courts found that ICU had acted in accordance with the law with regards to these transactions. The fact that the General Prosecutor’s office is resurfacing these allegations now amidst the recent presidential election is unfortunate.
