ICU financial group received two prestigious international Global Banking & Finance Awards 2021 awards. In particular, the ICU Trade online platform for trading domestic government bonds was named the "Best Innovative Trading Platform" of Ukraine. The group also received the Best Asset Management award for the second year in a row.
“For a long time, the Ukrainian stock market lagged behind the banking sector in its pace of digitalization. But the increased client demand for digital brokerage services has spurred the creation of innovative platforms such as ICU Trade. We were the first to give private investors the opportunity to trade government bonds online with instant payments.”
“The growing number of customers and positive feedback confirm that this was a 100% hit. But we are not stopping and are already preparing to launch a mobile application, as well as to expand the ICU Trade product line with corporate bonds and investment certificates,” said Yevgeniya Gryshchenko, Head of brokerage services department at ICU.
ICU has maintained its leadership position in the asset management market for over 10 years. The assets of investment and pension funds managed by the group in Ukraine exceed UAH 2.3 billion, and the number of clients has approached 120,000.
“The basis of our success is long-term and trusting relationships with clients, built thanks to our excellent financial results and high standards of service. The funds under our management, including the largest bond fund in Ukraine, are leaders in terms of profitability, asset growth rates and the number of clients. In 2021, we will continue to look for effective investment solutions and expand the range of our investment products,” said Grigoriy Ovcharenko, Head of local asset management at ICU.
The Global Banking & Finance Awards was established in 2011 by the renowned international business publication Global Banking & Finance Review. Each year, experts analyze business performance, long-term strategy, corporate governance, social responsibility and other indicators of companies from more than 150 countries around the world and select the best in various areas. The full results of the 2021 award can be found on the Global Banking & Finance website.
Earlier this year, ICU was also recognized as the Best Capital Markets and Advisory firm in Ukraine by the international magazine Euromoney.
