ICU SPONSORS UKRAINE HOUSE DAVOS IN 2019

ICU, an independent asset management, private equity and investment advisory firm specialising in Central and Eastern Europe, is pleased to announce its sponsorship of Ukraine House in Davos.

Ukraine House, in its second year, was set up to showcase the new Ukraine, a vibrant and dynamic European democracy leveraging its competitive advantages in “brains, hands and grains”.

The theme of the event will continue to be Ukraine: Creativity, Innovation, Opportunity. Ukraine House Davos will be held at Promenade 62, Davos, Switzerland from January 21-25, 2019.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Makar Paseniuk, Managing Partner at ICU said:

“We are pleased to sponsor Ukraine House in Davos. We are proud to support events that showcase innovation and creativity in Ukraine and highlight the significant opportunityfor investors in the country. We continue to invest in startups through our venture capital business and are confident that participation in events such as Ukraine House is a significant plus for the development of both individual companies in Ukraine and the technology ecosystem as a whole. If Ukraine is to fulfil its aspirations to build a stable, fair and prosperous society, we feel it is crucial that we support all events that help change the perception of Ukraine and shine a light on the investment opportunity in the country.”

Ukraine House Davos will feature panels on women trailblazers, technology, new energy, creative industries, character in leadership and much more. Among invited speakers are Malala, the Nobel Prize winner; Gerard Seijts, Ivey Business School, Executive Director; Elliot Gerson, Executive Vice President, Aspen Institute; Joseph Stiglitz, Nobel Prize winning economist; and actress Lupita Nyong'o. They will be joined by additional high-profile speakers, who will be announced in due course.

A full agenda will be released shortly on www.ukrainehousedavos.com. The public is invited to follow the event via social media on #ukrainehousedavos.

Ukraine House Davos is a multi-format venue, powered by Co-Organizers Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA), Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF), Victor Pinchuk Foundation and Horizon Capital.
